FUHONG PEARL PIGMENTS USED IN PLASTIC

 

FUHONG pearl pigments are translucent, in the application process, it must pay attention to the optical properties and utilization of the pearl to achieve good results. From artificial leather, wallpaper, plastic packaging films, cosmetics, shampoo and packaging supplies, household appliances plastic pieces, artificial pearls, plastic buttons and other plastic products are widely used to increase the attractiveness of pearl pigments. FUHONG pearl pigments can be applied to almost all of thermoplastics and part of the thermosetting plastics. Plastics used in the concentration of pearl pigments, depending on the application of different conditions. But the general to 1-2% (weight of the resin), can reach a satisfactory pearl effect, for certain film products, will have to use up to 4-8 percent of the pearlescent pigments concentration. In addition, some less transparent plastic also need a higher content of pearl pigment or the larger particles to outstanding results.

As FUHONG pearl pigments themselves are translucent, and the need to rely on external light reflection to achieve a good pearl effect, in the choice of plastic, transparency should be adopted relatively good material. Better transparency of the plastic in common is more transparent, adding pearl pigments, the light can reach the surface of plastic pearl pigments chip surface of reflection and refraction. Low transparency or opaque plastic such as GPPS, HIPS, ABS, pearl effect was not obvious, but that does not mean that they will not be able to use plastic pearl pigments, but the pearl pigments relatively large amount of it.
